SHIZEN GETS GREENER
One of the reasons I started my natural product company was I wanted to be able to provide other people with natural products that were good for their skin and also good for the environment. Your skin absorbs much of what you put on it, much the same way the environment absorbs the waste we create every day. Purchasing a Shizen product is not only good for your skin but also the environment. In addition to using natural and local ingredients, here are some of the other things we do to reduce Shizen’s environmental impact.
When you buy from Shizen we purchase carbon offsets from Greenfleet to counterbalance the greenhouse gas emissions created when we transport your purchase to you. This doesn’t cost you any more money; it’s just something we do. Our contributions to not-for-profit Greenfleet help them plant permanent native forests which help offset carbon emissions and assist with bush regeneration.
In our production facility and offices we recycle paper, cardboard, magazines, printer cartridges, …everything we possibly can. You can help us further reduce our impact on the planet by recycling all your Shizen boxes and packing material. Thanks for supporting my young Australian Brand.
