Olive Oil will be your savior here. Apply 1 drop to your lips and repeat at least 3 times, over 30minutes. Next step in the shower wipe your lips with a damp face washer. Then apply another drop of olive oil, and a nice thick layer of your favorite Shizen Lip product. Told you it was good, and NO lip licking please.

Dry tight skin? So easy to fix, after cleansing your skin, pat it dry with a towel, then apply 1-2 tablespoons of honey. Leave on for 10 minutes then rinse off. Soft skin here you come.

MORE COMPLICATED RECIPES

So these require a little mixing and a little measuring, but really not all that much effort.

Sugar Scrub, don’t be tempted to use a different sugar, use what I say or you may end up causing yourself lots of grief.

Mix 1 teaspoon of fine castor sugar with 1 teaspoon of sweet almond oil. Gently scrub your lips and around the contours of your lips for 30 seconds. Wipe away excess with a tissue. Discard any remaining product.

Oatmeal Face Mask, great for a gentle exfoliation.
I use quick cooking oats for this recipe; they are smaller and easier to apply. Mix 1 tablespoon of oats with 1 tablespoon of water and 2 drops of lavender, rose geranium or jasmine essential oil (pick your favourite). Apply to a clean dry face using patting motion, allow to dry for 15 minutes. Gently rub off oats (yes this will get messy so I suggest doing this part in the shower). Your skin should be softer and smoother.

REALLY MUCH MORE COMPLICATED RECIPES

So you will need to hunt down a good aromatherapy supplier or go to a really good health food store to get these ingredients, but trust me when I say it will be a rewarding experience if you put the time in.

Foot Scrub, no more crusty feet.

Mix together 1 tablespoon of each ground almond shells, Epsom salts & sweet almond oil with 5 drops of peppermint essential oil. Rub generously into feet using circular motions, concentrate on areas like your heals and toes, do this for at least 5 minutes each foot. Rinse away the scrub. And say bye the to dry flaky skin.

For a real treat for your feet, after scrubbing, rinse, massage in some apricot kernel oil, then pop on some old socks and put your feet up. Now you’re talking, in less then 30min, you will have super soft feet, or for super, super soft tootsies, why not sleep in those socks, your feet will be ever so grateful.
